We are planning on the Rhine Discovery tour June 2, 2013 and needing to transfer to Prague for a self guided stay. What is your recommendation for travel to Prague, there will be 4 of us traveling together? Hire car?, fly?, coach? or train? We're booking our flight and travel plans and need some advice since we have been advised that it is not possible to arrange the transfer to Prague thru Uniworld. Thanks

I believe you maybe able to hitch a ride with Uniworld. I believe it is $75 per. Check with your travel agent. Thanks, Jimmie

We took the bus from Nuremberg to Prague in December 2012. It is faster than the train and quite efficient. You book on www.bahn.de, which also does trains. We had a discussion on tripadvisor.com about train v bus - search for 'train Neurenburg to Prague' as topic on tripadvisor. Bus is cheaper especially if you book early. Ran on time and also stops at the old rail station in Prague, which is 5 minutes away from Wenceslas Square. There are taxis available from there.
