We are going on the Paris/Normandy cruise. Will the excursions accommodate a wheelchair?

I asked about this and from what I understand--no. You should probably contact Uniworld directly to verify.

Actually, I also got a "no" from the Uniworld rep per phone, but that might have been a scripted response. I wondered if anyone had gone and found that some of the excursions would work for a wheelchair. It would seem strange that none of them are wheelchair-friendly.

I hope I'm wrong but I'm sure I read where riverboats are NOT wheechair accessible...better check about both the boat and the excersion.

The problem is that to get from ship to shore one must walk a narrow "gangplank" of sorts. If the ships are double or triple docked, one must walk ship to ship to shore. cb
