I realize there is a 110 outlet, but I assume it is in the bathroom. I have a cpap machine and want to know what adapter and/or converter I need to bring.

Hello,

Thank you for your post. You are correct, for most of our ships, there is only one 110V which is usually in the bathroom. I recommend bringing a converter/adapter for a 220V as well as a 6-8 ft extension cord for your C-PAP machine, as I know that type of machinery needs to be close to your bed and we can not guarantee placement of the outlets in your stateroom. Also, in regards to bringing your C-PAP Machine, our Guest Relations Department and Cruise staff need to be made aware that you will be bringing that type of medical equipment. If you haven't done so already, please notify them you will be bringing a C-PAP machine. You can email them at customerservice@uniworld.com with your last name and booking number.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can answer for you.

Thank you,

Hi -

I'll be on the River Beatrice from Budapest to Passau in late October. I will be bringing a couple of electronic devices (phone, tablet, etc) and wondered what plug type is in use on the boat - German? French? UK? It is my understanding that there will be one plug in the bathroom that is 110V (US voltage) but does the room have additional plugs that are 220V - if so, I want to bring a converter with the proper plug end.

Thanks!

Carla

Hi Carla,

Thank you for your post. To answer you question yes, the River Beatrice does have a 110V (US Plug) in the restroom however the rest of the cabin is equipped with EU/220V. You will be fine to bring a 220 V converter with you in order to charge all your electronic devices.

Please let me know if there is any additional information I can provide.

Thank you,
