We can't think of a more befitting name for our new ship than that of the Great Empress Maria Theresa, who reigned in Austria from 1740 to 1780. The only woman ruler in the history of the Habsburg dynasty, her efforts transformed her empire and provided a strong foundation for the modern era.
The new S.S. Maria Theresa will be truly worthy of the designation "Super Ship," as she sails the Rhine, Main, and Danube, bringing luxury and refinement to new levels on our Tulips & Windmills, European Jewels, European Holiday Markets, and Grand Christmas & New Year itineraries.
