We are wishing everyone safe journeys. Give us a shout on board. We're not hard to miss. I am 6'7' and my wife is a red head.
Looking forward to spending time in Russia with everyone.

We have always used credit cards and ATMs for purchases in Europe with no problems. Do the ATMs in Russia work the same? How widely accepted are Visa/MasterCards? Is there any need to take much cash in dollars?

We are a couple from Texas who will be traveling on the River Queen departing Antwerp on April 6, 2014. We are in our late 50's. This will be our 8th Uniworld cruise and we are looking forward to the trip. Who is going with us?

We are looking at the Tulips and Windmills tour for 2014. The prices vary greatly between March and April. It appears the middle to later part of April must be the optimum time for the tulips to be in bloom. If you go in March or early April, will anything be in bloom?

On all of our previous Uniworld ships, we have had an outlet that was 110 volt. Does the River Victoria have a 110 volt outlet in each cabin?

Debbie, looks like we are the only people on our cruise. I expected more people to use the Community Forum. We're easy to spot. I am 6'7" and my wife has auburn hair.
See y'all shortly.....

Can anyone who has recently been on the Enchanting Danube cruise give some details as to their recommendations for tours/optional tours?

We have been on several Uniworld cruises and have never had an alarm clock in the room. They do have wake up service via the telephone. We take a small clock that we keep set to the local time.

We have always taken the optional tours....since we're already there. There is always an included tour at each stop. The optional tours are for people who want to see a little more...and pay for it. We have been on this cruise in the winter, but not on the River Beatrice. I know you will enjoy Uniworld service....we just can't get enough. We are already booked on Uniworld's Imperial Waterways of Russia for the August 21, 2013 sailing. We have not been to Russia with Uniworld, so this will be new.
The four of us traveling together are from Texas. Where are you from? If you have any specific questions, please email me at: email@example.com.
