We are interested in shipping our luggage to Basel for a Rhine Christmas market, but luggage forward doesn't list Colgne as a pickup to ship back. Can you assist

Hi NordblomRASA,In response to your note, we've added Cologne to the list of available options on our website. Now if you visit http://www.luggageforward.com/uniworld, you will be able to see rates and book a shipment directly from the ship in Cologne. Alternatively, we can arrange to have your luggage collected at your hotel.

we have been unable to get specific details about shipping our luggage home after our Uniworld Cruise that docks in cologne Germany on December 15, 2013. It is totally clear about shipping from our home in Orlando Florida, when you come to pick up and when you deliver our bag to the cruise ship on December 8th the day we board in Basel Switzerland. We don't know the logistics of shipping the bag home. I know we do all the arraingments at the time we originally book with Luggage forward. That you will give us all the forms we need to ship our luggage back. The major question is do we have to be present when you come to pick up luggage. Can we leave it with the Cruise Hotel Manager, and all the paper work? We dock in Cologne on December 14th with a whole day in Cologne, then we disembark the morning of December 15th to catch an early train to Paris. The cruise ship arrives in Basel Switzerland the night of December 6, and is present in Basel thru December 9th. We embark December 8th. Our questions beside the question about being present for pick up, is what day should we use for delivery to the cruise ship and what day for pickup. The Lady we spoke to at your company really didn't have knowledge regarding river cruises and was only knowledgeable about sea cruises. We would apprecaie your response. luggage forward people are fantastic. Made shipping very easy, however the discount has expired on your web site, but they honored the discount. Makes me wonder why I ever schlupped my baggage through airports before this, a wonderful idea. Certainly worth the expense and plan to use again next year on Enchanting Christmas Cruise, for our finery needed for the holidays. Thanks for the tip.
