I will be spending a night in Vienna prior to the cruise. As I am not purchasing the pre-Vienna extension as it is for two nights and I will only be there the night before, how do I get to the ship. If I stay at the same hotel as Uniworld uses will I be able to purchase a transfer from you, otherwise is it close enough to get a taxi.

Hello,

Thank you for your post. Unfortunately, you will not be able to purchase a transfer from Uniworld. Your hotel manager would be able to assist you in getting a taxi from the hotel to the ship port. I will be able to provide the address of the ship port and the estimated time of travel from the hotel to the ship however I do need your itinerary name as this information is specific to your location. This information will also be included in your pre-cruise documents along with a telephone number to reach the ship. These documents will be sent 4-5 weeks before departure.

Thank you,
Katie (community manager)

Hi.. We took a Uniworld cruise starting in Vienna and went to Prague for a few days and then Vienna for a fews days before the cruise. I looked back in my notes. We took a cab to the port but I cant seem to find the cost. All I remember is that it was easy. What we found is that the Uniworld Vienna tours took us to the same places we had just been to. We stayed at the Hotel Bristol across the street from the Opera House and loved the location. However, even though the Hotel Bristol was very nice, to be honest the staff was a little snobby for our liking. I might stay there again for the location as everything was right outside our door.
Enjoy!
