Hi, I have been on Caribbean cruises before during the summer time with bathing suits and lightweight clothing, but this will be my first time on a European cruise and in the cold weather, so am a bit perplexed with what clothes/shoes to wear. Suggestions would be welcome especially since I am female and can take only 1 suitcase : )
Also, how warm is the dining room on board as far as the dressier dinners? I would love to wear a dress, but being from a Southern climate think legs and feet would be very cold for this. Suggestions on this, too would be appreciated.

I am really looking forward to this wintertime cruise and want to be prepared.

I will be traveling alone taking my first river cruise. If anyone that is also taking this cruise would like to get in touch before the cruise, I would love to hear from you. I'm also thinking about clothes to take. Joyce Orendorff

I am from Florida, so get very cold, and found my thick, furry Ugg boots and heavy suede long down-filled coat, with hood, wool scarf and leather gloves to be the best thing I packed. I had a great time and met a number of other single travelers my age and had a great time... am sure you will, too. Have a great time. The Christmas markets and concerts were awesome...it was a wonderful, wonderful cruise!
