We are booked on the SS Antoinette, June 15, 2014, Amsterdam to Basel.
We will be staying at the Renaissance Amsterdam for a couple of days prior to the trip (on our own). We will also be staying at the Cascada Hotel in Lucerne after the trip (also on our own)..
Would Uniworld possibly provide transfers only between the ship and the hotels, even if extra cost?
Thanks,
Paul and Carolanne Croll

Anne,

We are booked on the SS Antoinette, May 10, 2015 Amsterdam to Basel. We would like to arrive in Amsterdam one day early, on May 9, to acclimate to the time change, sight-see, and rest a bit before we embark the ship on May 10 for the cruise. Does Uniworld provide any transportation from the airport to the hotel if our arrival is one day in advance of the cruise? Or to the dock from the hotel the day of the cruise? We are considering the Movenpick for its close proximity to the docks. Any better suggestion?

Thanks!
Pam

Hello,
Unfortunately, we do not provide transportation from the airport to your hotel the day before your cruise. We also do not provide transfers from your hotel to the ship.

We recommend phoning the ship to confirm port location when you arrive in Amsterdam. You will receive the ship's phone number several weeks before you trip in your pre-cruise documentation packet. Your hotel can call a taxi for you or advise if there is another way to transfer to the ship.

For selecting a hotel while in Amsterdam, we recommend visiting Trip Advisor to review your options for hotels while in Amsterdam -

Here is the list of possible port addresses for the S.S. Antoinette:

Steiger 18
Ruijterkade West 1013 AA Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Veemkade Passenger Terminal
Veemkade 1019 GZ Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Javakade
Javakade 1019 RT Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Should you have any other questions, please contact us at info@uniworld.com.

Best,
Anne
