Lively Regensburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to two thousand years of history. Your guided walking tour explores the Cathedral of St. Peter, with its magnificent stained-glass windows; the Town Hall; and Regensburg’s famous 12th-century Stone Bridge. Then make your way to Thurn and Taxis Castle to visit its delightful Christmas Market. Converted in 1812, the buildings of the castle actually date to the 8th century, when it was a monastery.
